Don't Cry...

Large purple eyes shone up at her before the tiny face that held them pressed into her flank. "Why are you crying, princess?"
"Oh you sweet foal, you should be in bed." Celestia said softly, laying down on the cold flagstone floor so that she might hold the unicorn to her. Twilight instinctively went to her, pressing her head against her mentors neck in an effort to comfort the crying mare.
"I-I don't want you to cry."
"I'm just lonely, Twilight. But I feel better with you here." She confided. Celestia buried her face in Twilights soft fur and gave a relieved sigh, happy the little foal had been feeling adventurous.
A small tongue touched her cheek and she opened her eyes to find Twilight licking at her tears the way she often had for her. Her faithful little student...




Just a little story i had jumping around in my brain. I suck at them but it wanted out so here. Celestia is surprised by her student one night while gazing at her sisters moon.
